Accial Capital is a signatory to the Responsible Finance Forum Investor Guidelines and is a member of the Global Impact Investing Network.**About the position**Furthermore, the individual will need to communicate proposed solutions and results to non-technical staff and ensure the proposed solutions will meet the end goals of the organisation. Data is the fuel to our rocket ship and the individual will play a critical role in accelerating growth of company revenue.**What You'll Do**- ** Data Architecture Design**: Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to design the overall data architecture, including data models, schemas, and data flow diagrams, ensuring data is structured, accessible, and optimized for analytics.- **Data Integration**: Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, logs, files), transform it to the desired format, and load it into data warehouses or other storage systems.- **Data Quality Assurance**:Implement data validation and data cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.- **Cross-functional Stakeholder Collaboration**:Work closely with data scientists, business owner, and end customers to understand data requirements and provide them with reliable data assets for analysis.- **Monitoring and Troubleshooting**: Continuously monitor data pipelines, databases, and systems to identify and resolve performance issues and data processing errors.- **Performance Optimization**:Optimize data pipelines and processing jobs to improve performance, reduce processing time, and enhance overall system efficiency.- **Documentation**:Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes, code, and configurations for easy understanding and knowledge sharing within the team.**Qualifications**- Required- English speaker- 3+ years of job experience with SQL and noSQL databases- 3+ years of experience in software development- Advanced degree in Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent- Preferred- Experience in a wide range of databases and data management solutions- Experience working in Python- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
