**IMPORTANT: WORK IS ON SITE. AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL CODING-BILLING IS REQUIRED.**We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Data Verification Specialist** with strong background in **Insurance** **Medical Coding and Billing** to join our team.Duties include review of patients records to determine proper CPT/ICD-10 coding, to ensure coding accuracy, and account data. Also:- Check and validate ICD-10 codes to ensure accurate billing and compliance.- Identify any errors in data by performing data review that require further clarification with the study sites- Conduct in-stream data trend analysis in support of data quality and integrity (includes protocol compliance and targeted review of patient data)- May assist in review and contribute to data capture requirements guidance in line with protocol and reporting requirements.- Maintain accurate records of all insurance verifications and approvals.- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and coding requirements.- Familiarity with prior authorization processes.**Skills and Qualifications**:- 6 months+ of experience working on USA based healthcare medical billing and coding- Experience in coding review- **Must have at least 6 months of experience in (USA) insurance verification plus previous training in Medical coding and billing.**- AHIMA/AAPC certification is NOT required but it is a BIG plus.- Experience in the use and review of electronic health records.- Strong clinical database navigation skills- Medical terminology knowledge- Must be detail-oriented and organized, have excellent time-management skills, and have good analytical and problem-solving ability.- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, demanding work environment required.- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work- Strong computer, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally, and in written formats are necessary.- Strong organizational and planning skills- Proficient in MS OfficeTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $22,000.00 - $25,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Caja de ahorro- Seguro de vidaPago complementario:- Bono de permanenciaTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 10 horasExperiência:- Medical Coding: 1 año (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés Avanzado (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
