Our founders and team members have industry experience and have held senior positions in a wide variety of companies - from emerging startups to large Fortune 50 firms - and we have taken our combined experiences and developed a unique approach that is supported by the principles of deep expertise, integrity, transparency, and dependability.**The Role**:**Required Knowledge and Experience**- Authoring and managing execution of test cases using tools such as Zephyr Scale/Test Rails- Testing APIs using tools such as JMeter and Postman- Scrum**Desirable Knowledge and Experience**- MySQL (SQL language used for data validation)- Experience using browser console to view JavaScript errors, warnings, etc.**Duties and Responsibilities**Create and Maintain Test Cases- Collaborate with developers and program managers during story grooming, etc. to- understand desired software functionality- Document desired functionality in the form of test cases- Create automated test suites for UIs and APIs, including working with development and DevOps to stage data, files, mock external APIs, etc.Conduct Testing Activities- Schedule and execute tests (manual and automated) in coordination with software development- Document testing results- Analyze errors and work with developers to determine root causeMonitor and Support Deployed Software- Coordinate with product manager and developers in reviewing reported bugs, usability issues, etc.- Create repeatable steps to reproduce reported bugs- Participate in backlog grooming to help prioritize development work**Professional Experience**- 3 years or more of employment in the workplace as a QA engineer**What we offer**:- Remote Work Opportunities- Flexible Work Hours- Professional Development Opportunities
