Together, let’s create the extraordinaryJob SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, South Campus.Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the role involves responsibilities for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.What a typical day looks like:- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.- Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development.- Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production.- Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.- Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.- Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO).The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.- Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.- Knowledge with implementation engineering changes.- Leadership in NPI implementation.- Experience with personal management.- Fluent English.- NPI experience.- Knowledge in RP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.SC69Job CategoryProduction Engineering**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:At Flex, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and know there is much more to a great employee than just a list of requirements - if you are excited about a role (but don’t meet every bullet-point), we encourage you to apply.
