The position has responsibility to provide tax planning advice and helps to save money and avoid penalties.**1. Prepare and file tax returns**: ensure returns are accurate and meet legal requirements.**2. Identify tax savings**: look for credits, deductions and other ways to reduce tax liability.**3. Audit records**: review records for errors and ensure compliance with regulations.**4. Provide tax planning**: Help clients develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.**5. Stay current on tax laws**: keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.**6. Communicate with clients**: inform clients of tax savings opportunities and resolve tax-related issues.**7. Maintain tax databases**: organize and update tax databases.8. Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.9. Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits.10. Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations.11. Advice management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws.12. Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work.13. Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.14. Keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting - Master’s Degree is a plus.- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role.- English (90% spoken and written).- Knowledge of current laws, regulations and tax requirements.- Ability to effectively communicate with positions at all levels within the organization.- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.- Analytical skills (understands financial statements / has performed variance analysis).- Excellent Excel skills.- Planning and time management skill.- Able to deal with a dynamic and changing environment.- Valid US Visa.- Willingness to Travel
