Job Description Billing Agent is responsible for processing invoices, billing customers, and taking care of all related customer invoicing/posting tasks. Ensure invoices are mailed in timely fashion. Responsibilities Generate and deliver accurate / timely invoices specific to customer accounts per invoicing KPI metrics, via digital, EDI and traditional mail services. Accountable for printing out invoices and send out weekly manifest or invoices. (If required) Research and correct rating and billing discrepancies Produce weekly invoice summaries of all activity processed for all accounts. Ensures division codes are correct at the HAWB level. Monitors and respond all emails regarding invoices. Acts as a liaison with the internal and external customers in solving problems related to shipment invoicing. The wage range for this position is $17.93 - $27.82 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience Qualifications Education Qualifications High School Diploma Required Experience Qualifications Less than 1 year experience in bookkeeping and accounting Required 2+ years AS400 experience a plus, ITAR, DG or TSA work experience/regulations Preferred Skills And Abilities Ability to navigate the following Air Carrier’s, LSPs websites to gather detail on shipment level activities.
