Warehouse Coordinator

We are hiring a **W**arehouse Coordinator **who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and proper functioning of the warehouse. This person complies with the fulfillment of the operational processes, the safety and operating standards established by state and municipal laws, supervises and implements improvement processes that achieve an expeditious operation, as well as the optimal use of space, with an excellent service to internal and external customers.**What you will be doing**:- Shipment planning.- Receipts of merchandise, unloading of containers and trailers.- Supervision and distribution of team activities. Assign workloads to the team.- Control of inputs and outputs of materials- Supervise the arrangement of the merchandise.- Lead and carry out inventories.- Implementation of improvement processes - Lean methodology.- Updating of processes in the systems.- Efficient management of spaces within the warehouse.- Compliance with safety standards and internal regulations. Operating licenses, civil and environmental protection- Keep track of statistics and metrics.- Maintenance of facilities.- Provide constant support / feedback to the team.- KPI's, 5's program.- Follow-up of requests to comply in a timely manner with the demand of the operation.**Who you are****Required Skills and Competencies**- Completed career in Administration, Industrial Engineer, Logistics Engineer or similar.- At least 5 years verifiable experience in a similar role, managing staff and in distribution centers or similar industry.- Comprehension of the English language, 50%- Management of Office parcel (Excel, PPT)**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Focus on results- Teamwork- Excellent customer service- You can work under pressure- You are a conflict solver- High communication skills- You are proactive person- Collaborative spirit- You like to go out of your comfort zone and implement new processes**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
