What’s new with Aptar We have an exciting position open: Industrialization Engineer The Industrialization Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the manufacturability of our products, specifying and procuring equipment, and supporting product launches. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment qualification, and safety standards. As an Industrialization Engineer you will: Providing Feedback to Product Design : Collaborate with the Product Design team to offer insights and recommendations that enhance the manufacturability of products.
Specifying Equipment Requirements : Identify and specify the necessary equipment for manufacturing processes. Work closely with vendors to obtain quotes and procure the required equipment. Qualifying Equipment : Conduct thorough qualification of equipment both at the vendor's site and the final installation site to ensure all requirements are met. Ensuring Equipment Safety : Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
Facilitate a smooth transition of equipment to the site and provide support during product launch phases. Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of equipment specifications, qualification processes, and safety protocols. Training and Support : Provide training and support to production staff on new equipment and processes to ensure smooth integration and operation.
Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve any issues related to equipment or manufacturing processes in a timely manner. Collaboration : Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure seamless project execution.
What you will
bring on the journey Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Mechanical or technical area of expertise).
Experience
Experience in injection molding, automation, robotics, and/or inspection equipment and processes for the manufacturing of consumer‑packaged goods products.
Experience
with equipment procurement and vendor management. Team player with proven ability to influence across a matrix environment. Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as externally. Technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong Project Engineering skills, including Early Management, TPM and value stream engineering, ability to analyze and summarize complex data. Demonstrated oral and written/technical document creation and presentation skills. Ability to take responsibility and own performance by setting goals, seeking feedback and taking actions to develop a team. Ability to travel.
