Automation QA Engineer

Collaborate within an agile team providing input for product backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospective- Provide estimates and timelines for test automation and projects- Define, establish, extend and maintain test automation libraries, frameworks and tooling solutions, primarily focused on Automated Smoke, Functional and Regression Testing efforts- Create and execute system, regression, and integrated tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production- Develop and execute test automation scripts using tools/frameworks- Incorporate test automation into CI / CD process- Gain test script sign off from QA/Dev Managers on the test scripts.- Provide training and guidance for QA practices and the automation efforts- Depending on size and complexity of project, may also be assigned to perform duties of projectFunctional & Technical Skills:- Ability to convert complex business, technical requirements and use cases to test cases and test plans- Experience working on cloud and digital platforms- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies & eXtreme Programming- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and product owners- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience- Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment**DISCLAIMER**Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field- 4+ years of experience in development of automation test cases preferable in a SaaS environment.- P&C Insurance industry experience required- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress, Selenium or RestAssured for automation frameworks.- Superior Javascript skills required- Experience working directly with JMeter, LoadRunner, Karate API, YAML, Postman- Superior knowledge of agile best practices, continuous testing in a CI/CD environment such as GCP DevOps- Experience with SCM tools like GitHub, JIRA, familiarity with SQL- Experience with Cucumber (BDD) is a plus.- Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security; Cloud platforms- Strong communication skills; must be able to work in a self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
