If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**Position Summary**Performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and accounts payable or receivable functions.**Key Duties And Responsibilities**- Prepares, processes, and codes invoices, ensuring payment within terms- Compiles and maintains accurate financial information to prepare entries to accounts- Prepares and reviews reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness- Assists with month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports- Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders- Supports accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and invoicing- Reconciles accounts, ledgers, and reports- Assists with inventory valuation- Supports continuous improvement initiatives for accounting process and information flow- Maintains and reviews records and data to ensure compliance with all corporate policies and all GAAP, local, state and- federal lawEDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS**Education Required**High School Diploma or Equivalent**Education Desired**Bachelor’s DegreeSKILLS & EXPERIENCE**Work Experience Required**Some relevant experience**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**- Knowledge of accounting principals- Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from numerical material- Knowledge of methods, processes, and tools for preparation of financial statements and reports- Ability to identify, evaluate, and research problems related to the accounting functionABOUT ORBIS CORPORATION- social-responsibility-report/0.Click here to view our two-minute video that shares a quick glimpse about Menasha Corporation and our future of possibilities.Join us and become part of the power behind possible
