Be part of our team that values a wide range of perspectives and is committed to shaping a better world with every product we create.Location: San Nicolas TlalnepantlaWorkplace type: HybridAs a Facilities Coordinator you will ensure the uninterrupted and efficient operation of the Ingredion Idea Labs Innovation Centers located in Tlalnepantla and San Juan del Rio, overseeing all aspects of facilities management, safety, maintenance, and contractor coordination. This mid-level leadership role requires strong decision-making capabilities, budget management, and the ability to propose and implement process improvements aligned with corporate standards and innovation goals.**What will you do**:- Ensure continuous and reliable operation of both Tlalnepantla and San Juan del Rio sites, covering all facility-related services (e.g., water, electricity, gas, internet, HVAC, security, and meeting rooms).- Oversee the administration and scheduling of meeting rooms and shared spaces.- Lead the implementation and execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs for all equipment and infrastructure.- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate general maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, fumigation, water filters, refrigeration units).Safety & Emergency Preparedness- Lead and coordinate the emergency response brigade.- Maintain and update the Ingredion Idea Labs Safety Manual in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental programs, including Good- Laboratory/Manufacturing Practices.- Represent the site in the local risk committee and lead contingency planning for emergencies (e.g., floods, earthquakes, gas or electrical failures).Budget & Procurement- Manage operational expenses within the approved budget.- Coordinate additional budget requests through CAPEX or permit processes.- Act as the purchasing administrator for key supplies and services required by the Idea Labs.- Support invoice processing and vendor payment coordination.Contractor & Vendor Management- Supervise and coordinate external service providers (e.g., cleaning, gardening, IT support, general repairs) in alignment with Procurement and company policies.- Ensure compliance with service level agreements, safety standards, and internal procedures.- Oversee auxiliary and outsourced personnel as neededQuality & Compliance- Maintain compliance with quality and environmental certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 14000, ISO 17025).- Manage equipment calibration programs and ensure audit readiness.- Handle specifications, standards, and validation systems to meet audit-level requirements.**What will you bring**:4-6 years in facilities management, operations, or a similar role.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.**Who you are**:Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, contractor management, budget control, and cross-functional collaboration.**Why Join Ingredion?**Discover why Ingredion is the ideal place to advance your career with our exceptional rewards and benefits package designed to help you thrive.
