As the Analyst for the Resource Management team, you will report to the VP and focus on supporting the enhancement of resource allocation and streamlining processes to improve operational efficiency. Your role involves assisting in the implementation of project-based improvements to models and tools, leveraging your technical, financial, and analytical skills to provide insights on utilization and staffing. You will play a critical role in managing time-tracking data and conducting financial analyses to support our expanding team's needs.As the Analyst, Resource Management you will:- Tools & Model Enhancement:- Assist in implementing project-based improvements to refine and optimize our existing tools and processes, including the allocation model, pod placement workflow, and pricing and staffing recommendations, to better serve our projects and teams.-- Support the integration and adoption of additional tools to further streamline resource management processes.-- Design and curate detailed reporting and dashboard views to aid pods in better understanding their workload management and capacity. This initiative is essential for promoting more efficient planning and resource allocation.-- Utilization & Financial Analysis:- Use data from time tracking, along with analysis of utilization and billability, to provide insights that inform and refine staffing decisions, ensuring alignment with project demands and business objectives.-- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of resource allocation decisions and staffing models.-- Provide support in producing comprehensive portfolio analysis and financial reports that offer insights into team utilization and revenue productivity.-- Time-Tracking Support- Oversee the distribution of time-tracking surveys on a recurring basis.-- Manage the collection and import of time-tracking data into relevant systems.-- Analyze time-tracking data to ensure accurate and efficient capture of effort and project billing.KPIs:- Utilization and billability- Gross margin- % compliance with time reporting guidelinesProfessional Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in resource management, operations, or a related role, with a focus on utilization analysis and process optimization.- Proven experience in developing and implementing resource allocation models and tools.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.- Proficiency in resource management software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.Competencies:- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and provide insights for resource allocation and utilization.- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and refining resource management strategies and tools.- Collaboration: Strong ability to work with various teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient resource allocation.- Project Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring timely delivery of results.- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to refining processes and implementing new tools to enhance operational efficiency.
