Technical Project Manager

**Who You’ll Work With**Slalom Mexico is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant-level Technical Project Manager to join our Delivery Leadership Capability. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move confidently through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes.**What You’ll Do**- Oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across all projects.- Ensure that project deliverables can be integrated to become the overall result (product, service) and are fit to deliver the expected benefits.- Maintain the client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the project (ie: status reporting, issues management, and risk management) ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.- Utilize Agile methodologies to tailor project approaches based on specific project requirements and goals.- Hold teams accountable to project timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.- Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.- Mentor and support project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.- Support the development of internal processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing.**What You’ll Bring**- Must live within commuting distance of our Guadalajara office.- 5+ years of technical agile project management experience.- Previous project management experience on data and advance analytics development projects.- Expert in Agile project management methodologies.- Consulting experience - the ability to hit the ground running as a technical project manager or Agile project lead.- Deep knowledge in all phases of the technology project lifecycle including the identification of the business problem, business case, and project plan development through project management, financial management and closeout.- An ability to identify potential people-side risks/anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.- Strong technical background with a good understanding of data and advance analytics capabilities, dev/ops and infrastructure.- Knowledge of AI concepts as applied in project management contexts and/or experience in managing projects that involve the development or deployment of AI-based solutions, is preferred.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.- Engage in the Slalom community, contributing to a collaborative team environment.**About Us**Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always.
