In this position you will beone of the main contacts for our clients, prepare annual tax compliance deliverables,and assist with various tax research projects for our advisory service line.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance- Certified Public Accountant preferred (or equivalent experience)- 2+ years experience working with Gosystem strongly preferred.- 2+ years overall experience in tax preparation, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company- Passion for real estate, tax compliance and providing business insights to clients- Strong English verbal and written skills as you will be one of the main points o contact for our clients- Able to hit deadlines while staying calm under pressure- Extremely detail and process oriented - you strive to create organization- Proficient with communication and collaboration tools (we use Slack, Clickup and Google Workspace)**Job duties**:- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, an other business entities.- Specialize in the preparation of partnership tax returns, including K-1s an related schedules- Input and manage tax data using GoSystem Tax RS software- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations- Communicate with clients to collect necessary tax documentation and clarify information as needed- Stay up to date on tax law changes and industry developments.
