Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _- Quality Engineer (NPI Enclosures)_- located in Guadalajara, North Campus._- Reporting to the _- Quality Manager_- . _- Quality Engineer (NPI Enclosures)_- role involves_ working on_maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization._What a typical day looks like:- _ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation._- _ Internal and customer communication._- _ Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data._- _ Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost._- _ Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability._- _ Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities._- _ Holds up Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues._- _ Assures data availability and integrity for all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results._- _ Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion._- _ Assists with development and implementation of quality audits._- _ Responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of quality standards for the processing of materials into partially finished products._- _ Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment._- _ Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action._- _ Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and research of equipment and facilities._- _ Approves product, process and equipment qualifications._- _ Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies._The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _ Engineering or equivalent work experience (metalworking)._- _ Strong experience with Quality _Development/Integration_ tools._- _ Quality tools knowledge (8Ds, 5 Why's, Pareto Diagram etc.)_- _ Experience with engineering changes._- _ Experience with NPI._- _ Familiar with FMEA and control plans._- _ Knowledge of Soft Tooling (Punching, Laser, Bending, Insertion, etc.) and/ or Hard Tooling._- _ Good command of Minitab (DOE and SPC)._- _ Process Capability analysis (CP and CPK)._- _ Advanced English._- _ Intermediate-advanced_ excel._What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.IS81Job CategoryQuality**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:At Flex, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and know there is much more to a great employee than just a list of requirements - if you are excited about a role (but don’t meet every bullet-point), we encourage you to apply.
