As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.**About the role**:Samsara is looking for a strategic and data-driven **Account Validation Specialist** to pioneer our expansion into new market segments. This role is crucial to our long-term growth, focusing on uncovering and qualifying high-potential US Mid-Market+ accounts that are not yet in our ecosystem. You will act as a data detective and a sales strategist, using advanced tools and your own initiative to build a pipeline of quality new accounts, directly fueling the success of our sales team and helping us meet our ambitious growth targets.- This is a Hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our office in Mexico City. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.**In this role, you will**:- Proactively identify and research potential 'greyspace' accounts not currently in our Salesforce database, using a combination of data analysis, advanced tools, and market research.- Ensure the integrity of our sales data by meticulously cleaning, validating, and mapping new accounts in Salesforce, assigning correct classifications (DVS) to ensure pipeline quality.- Engage with potential prospects through initial outreach and cold calling to qualify accounts, identifying 'hot leads' for immediate handoff to the sales team.- Collaborate with sales leadership to provide feedback on lead quality from various cohorts and assist in the strategic allocation of newly discovered accounts.- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.**Minimum requirements for the role**:- At least 1 year of experience in a sales or sales development role, with experience in cold calling and lead qualification.- Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC), particularly in account mapping, data cleaning, and administration.- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to validate data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with leadership or sales teams.- Experience using advanced analytics or AI-powered tools for lead generation and account identification.- A proven track record of optimizing workflow processes for data management and sales pipeline integration.At Samsara, we welcome everyone regardless of their background.
