**Vacante para la empresa NAPS México en Tijuana, Baja California**:**Join us as our Cost AccountantAnalyst**:**The** Cost Analyst** position is responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing and Production cost analysis and inventory for all business locations. The cost analyst is responsible for comparing actual cost to standard cost and identifying and explaining variance by customer, part number, and production jobs. The cost analyst must also work closely with engineering, estimator, and manufacturing personnel to resolve variances and adjust Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routing. The cost analyst will also be involved with identifying cost savings, work closely with purchasing to identify material savings.**:**Role and Responsibilities**:- Ensure integrity of inventory cost and valuation by:- Making sure timely and accuracy of inventory transactions from inventory receipt, inventory usage, and finished goods shipment. Partner with production manager.- Conduct inventory cycle count programs for all locations, work with operations to investigate root cause and advise on inventory control improvement.- Working with purchasing to ensure inventory costs on purchase orders are accurate.- Perform work orders review comparing actual cost to standard cost:- Identify variance and the root cause. Work with manufacturing and engineering to improve quoting/estimating process and improve recording of actual transactions.- Ensure inventory and labor transactions are processed timely and accurately.- Prepare, analyze and report monthly gross margin analysis by customer, part number, and production jobs.- Work with manufacturing and engineering on continuous improvement (CI) projects.Responsible for tracking cost savings on CI projects and Kaizen events.- Responsible for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts.- Responsible for reporting on labor productivity and efficiency for all locations.- Assist in month-end and year-end closing by analyzing inventory and preparing supplemental reports as neededSkills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.years of experience performing relevant job duties- Minimum of 2 years of inventory and cost analyst experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Global Shop, Epicor, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent leadership, management, and motivational skills- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Customer service, quality, and safety oriented- Bilingual: English and Spanish**Nível de educación deseada**:Superior - titulado**Nível de experiência deseada**:Nível Medio**Función departamental**:Manufactura / Operaciones**Industria**:Manufactura, Bienes de Consumo
