**About the Role**Courier Network (CNW) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our growing global finance operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate processing of U.S. vendor invoices, timely payments, and improved data integrity within our accounting systems.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and partnering closely with vendors and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.**Key Responsibilities**- Enter and maintain accurate U.S. and M.X. vendor invoice data in the accounting system- Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation- Support timely processing and payment of vendor invoices- Assist in identifying and resolving missing or incomplete information that may delay payments- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to clarify invoice discrepancies- Help improve data accuracy and consistency within the accounting system- Support basic reporting and reconciliation as needed- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.- Other accounting, administrative, and clerical duties as assigned.**What We’re Looking For**- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist.- Bilingual Spanish and English; English speaking ability at the intermediate level.- 1-4 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or finance support- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Comfortable working with invoice data entry and payment tracking- Ability to follow processes while also flagging issues or inefficiencies- Basic knowledge of accounting systems or ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar is a plus)- Strong organizational and time-management skills**Nice to Have**- Experience working with U.S.based vendors or international accounting operations- Prior exposure to shared service centers or global finance teams**Why Join Us**- Be part of a growing global logistics company- Opportunity to help bring structure and clarity to finance processes- Stable role with room to grow as the team and systems evolve- Collaborative environment with exposure to international operations**Core Competencies and Values**- Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.- Demonstrates ability to comply with CNW's Core Competencies: Accountability & Responsibility, Collaboration & Teamwork, Communication, Customer Focus, Problem Solving & Decision Making.We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.We do not tolerate discrimination against job applicants or employees because of race, color, creed, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, genetic predisposition or carrier status, sexual orientation, and military status or any other protected class recognized under federal, state, or local law.
