Out of 15 travel insurance companies ranked by the financial news outlet, AIG Travel came in first.About the roleWhat you need to know:- Total Compensation range from 148,000 MXN to 266,000 MXN based on experience- Paid Time Off; Up to 20 days each year after the first year with the AIG- Company provided language instruction (English/Portuguese)Our Claims professionals support AIG policyholders through some of the most trying times. AIG manages claims using a wealth of technical and market knowledge about risks, business practices, and the ever-evolving legal and regulatory environment.The LAR Claims Support Coordinator is responsible for:- Receiving claim documents from customers and based on those, assigning new claims or activities to adjusters so that they can process the claims- Manage one or more inboxes receiving daily communications from customers and third parties and replying accordingly to questions or requests- Administrate the workload for the team of adjusters assigning different amounts or types of claims to different people, based on determined criteria and the status of the team- Process different basic claim activities, such as maintaining assignation databases, uploading documents to the system, processing payments to insureds, etcWhat we’re looking for:- Experience over the insurance operations, Claims or related in a basic to intermediate level- Entry Level. College degree not required, but preferred- Self-governance and responsibility are important, as it will be expected that you process your tasks independently- Excellent communication with customers (both written and by phone) in English and Spanish.
