**Responsibilities**:- Support the legal heads of Mexico and Colombia to provide support to the legal needs of these countries.- Provide contract drafting and negotiation support- Advise internal clients on legal and operational issues associated with client agreements- Assist with the communication and implementation of policies and procedures designed to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct within the region- Advise internal clients on various legal issues, with an emphasis on insurance, corporate and consumer law.- Other duties as required based on business and legal needs**Specific job requirements**:- Top tier law school in Mexico- Professional/advanced level in English and Spanish, both written and spoken- Experience dealing in legal matters with entities in the U.S. and or Latin American countries a strong plus- Telecom background a strong plus- Must possess sound character, excellent legal and business judgment; be self-assured, sharp, politic and able/willing to learn new areas of law- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with business colleagues, clients, outside counsel and opposing counsel- Strong drafting and negotiation skills- Nimble; ability to prioritize, work without supervision, and manage effectively a large variety and number of matters- Ability to provide creative, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced, demanding environment- Prior in-house experience a plus
