**Overview****R&D Product Developer****Main Purpose**Support the development of healthy snack portfolio in Mexico through innovation projects, business continuity plan, productivity, portfolio transformation and brand stewardship. The main objective of this role is to coordinate projects through internal tools including idea generation, co-creation, bench top design and product development to satisfy consumer needs with innovative and consumer-centric products. Coordinate and support scale up trials in pilot and industrial plants. This position will interact with R&D Regional and Global teams, Nutrition, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance as well as vendors and other functional staff.**Responsibilities****Accountabilities****/ Responsibilities**- Perform Innovation according to internal processes, including laboratory and pilot plant prototyping, experimental reports, ingredients screening. Regulatory, Nutrition and Food Safety compliance through product development. Coordinate consumer and sensory trials. Support scale up trials at internal and external plants and follow up new product after launching.- Collaborate in the strategy definition to build a strong Pipeline based on consumer centric needs identifying trends, ingredients, technologies and providing technical information regarding costs, formulation and operational feasibility- Support Brand Stewardship initiatives to ensure product quality for core products and innovation and participate in productivity initiatives according to business plans.- Oversee the end-to-end spec writing process including supplier technical questionnaire collection, ingredient testing, spec quality parameter validation, supplier alignment, and workflow tracking- Develop feasible technical solutions for Portfolio Transformation Initiatives by reducing sugar, sodium and sat fat for Healthy Snack category through screening ingredients and assessing their functionality in Laboratory, Pilot and Industrial Plants trials, also evaluating cost impact, regulatory compliance and sensory consumer perception.- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal and company standards (includes Nutritional Requirement and Sustainability), external and local framework- Provide first line support to manufacturing team, respond to contingencies by ensuring accurate technical analysis to enable short term solution for business continuity**Qualifications****Qualifications / Requirements**- ** Education**:BA/BS in Food Science or related discipline- ** Professional Experience**:At least 1 year experience in the food industry,Quality and/or R&D field.- **Skills**:Strong communication skills (oral and written) Result-oriented with a positive outlook.
