We're hiring a SQL & Power BI Developer to build the reports, dashboards, and data models our clients rely on to run their businesses. This is a hands‑on delivery role. You'll write SQL, build Power BI semantic models, create DAX measures, and work directly with clients and our BI architects to turn messy data into clear decisions. What You'll Do SQL & Data Modeling Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures Build and refine relational data models (fact/dimension structures) Support ETL processes and troubleshoot data quality issues Power BI & DAX Design reports and dashboards that clients actually use Build semantic models and DAX measures for KPIs, trends, and financial reporting Optimize for performance—both query speed and user experience Manage dataset refreshes and data source connections Partner with BI Architects on solution design Translate business requirements into technical specs Document logic clearly (your future self and teammates will thank you) What You Bring 1–4 years working with SQL (joins, aggregations, optimization) Hands‑on Power BI and DAX experience Comfort connecting Power BI to SQL Server data sources Curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical work to non‑technical people Bonus Points Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory exposure Data warehousing concepts (star schema, slowly changing dimensions) Git or any source control experience Row‑level security implementation What You Get Real client impact: Your dashboards will drive decisions at staffing firms across the U.S. Skill acceleration: Mentorship from senior BI architects, exposure to the full Microsoft analytics stack (SQL Server, Power BI, Fabric) Remote‑first flexibility: We've been distributed since before it was trendy Growth runway: We're scaling fast and building the team to get there U.S.-based candidates only.
