**DESCRIPTION**:Amazon Supply Chain seeks a Senior Transportation Planning Manager to lead strategic planning and execution initiatives for our domestic transportation network. This key leadership role will shape the future of our supply chain, ensuring operational excellence while optimizing costs and enhancing customer experience.The Transportation Planning organization drives the development and execution of network-wide solutions that enable efficient, scalable operations across Amazon's extensive domestic supply chain network. We're seeking an exceptional leader who combines deep analytical capabilities with strategic vision and proven execution skills.Key job responsibilities- Lead strategic planning and execution of transportation initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service levels across multiple regions and modes within the domestic network- Develop innovative solutions for complex transportation challenges, including capacity planning, network optimization, and multi-modal strategies- Own end-to-end planning processes for seamless peak season execution while maintaining optimal year-round operations- Build and maintain sophisticated forecasting models to drive network decisions and resource allocation- Partner with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Product teams to design and implement scalable solutions- Drive data-driven decision making, translating complex analyses into actionable insights- Lead high-impact projects that influence the strategic direction of Amazon's domestic transportation network- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, and Business teams- Develop and mentor team members while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement- Create and implement scalable processes that enable consistent execution across the domestic network- Lead strategic response to network disruptions and challenges- Identify and drive process improvements through root cause analysis and data-driven solutionsAbout the teamInclusive team cultureAt Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion.
