HR Supervisor

**A Place Where People Matter.**Start your career journey with Univar Solutions Here you can make an impact on the world around you and accelerate your career in areas that energize and excite you.Reporting to the Director, HR Shared Services, the Tier 1 Supervisor will oversee the operations of the Tier 1 team, ensuring all HR transactions and inquiries are handled or escalated accurately with adherence to HR procedures and controls.**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:- Build a high energy collaborative team who makes the connection between HR Shared Services, HR Centers of Expertise, and HR Business Partners, ensuring seamless delivery of HR solutions to employees and managers.- Manage Service Center resolution and escalation of issues while consistently meeting/exceeding key performance metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLA) to deliver service excellence.- Oversee the operations of the HR technology systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of employee data.- Resolve escalated HR issues, working closely with the Data Administrator, HR Inquiries Administrator, and HR Technology Administrator.- Manage the process of mass employee data changes, including organizational changes, job changes, and manager changes. Manage inquiries and transactions during periods of high volume and act as a back-up to Tier 1 staff.- Identify trends in employee and manager tickets and case data and seek continuous improvement opportunities.- Develop training on new or enhanced operation procedures related to HR transactions and inquiries.- Collaborate with downstream functions (Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, Compensation, Talent), including integrations troubleshooting.- Monitor team’s workflow and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred or combined Associates degree with 2+ years work experience is required- HR certification is a plus- 3+ years previous experience in a HR Shared Services or HR Operations role- Proven experience in leading and managing a team in a Shared Services or Contact Center environment**WHERE YOU’LL WORK**:- **Hybrid work environment** - 3 days/week in office once initial training period of 30 days is satisfactorily completed.Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients **essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives** from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
