To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to provide the direct leadership to a team of talented recruiters in charge of sourcing and recruiting for the Devices and Services organization in Latin America.Success in this role requires ability to define strategy, partner with internal clients, an aptitude for developing insights-driven process improvement, defining customer-centric goals and a passion for developing and leading people. You will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices for the Devices Latin America recruiting and hiring program.Key job responsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:- Build distinct hiring strategies based on demand & capacity to support Tech, SDE and Non Tech hiring for Devices and Software Services, Devices OS, Amazon Photos, eero, Kuiper and Sales and Marketing organizations to meet increasing hiring needs across the Latin America market.- Drive sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build top talent pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite delivery.- Develop and manage recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers and interviewers.- Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands.- Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.- Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.- Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.- Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business projects and initiatives related to recruiting.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors Degree- 8+ years of recruitment/HR experience in a Corporate in-house or Staffing environment with high volume hiring (100 requisitions open at the same time, at least)- 1+ years’ experience managing and coaching a recruiting team of direct or indirect reports.- Bilingual English proficiencyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics.- Portuguese proficiency- Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI- Workforce planning experience- Experience scaling a team through tremendous growth periods- Experience partnering with global clients and peers- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
