Materials Manager

Complies with international, federal, state, customs, and local shipping and receiving requirements.Manages all aspects of purchasing (materials), production planning and scheduling.Manages all indirect material procurement.Optimizes supplier relationship. Improves trust and collaboration among supply chain partners.Controls relevant Supply Chain plant processes and generates indicators and reports.Analyze processes within Supply Chain function to optimize costs and performance.Recommend and implement improvements in productivity, quality, efficiency of operations, and improves cost-effectiveness. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products.Manages the planning and establishment of production schedules.Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cyclesConducts regular inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.Manages all indirect material procurement for the plant. This includes regular cycle counts, annual physical inventory.**Qualifications and Requirements**:Bachelor of Science, Business, or related field.5+ experience in Supply Chain related position in a certified manufacturing organization.Supply Chain management experience using certified processesProject management and implementation of process improvementsExceptional negotiation skillsMRP/ERP systems, EDI systems, MS Office. Strong Excel skills.Strategic ThinkingBusiness fluent English.
