Applications Developer LW**Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English**Preferred Qualifications****Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English**Preferred Qualifications**We are looking for a Spark Developer to join our team: - Proven experience as Apache Spark developer (3+ years of experience)- Experience building Cloud Applications- Experience building and working in Data integration and data warehouses- Experience working with big data sets, NoSQL databases- Experience in Elastic Search is preferred- Experience in software development and coding in Object Oriented languages (Python/Scala)- Experience delivering features with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).- Understanding of software quality assurance principles- A technical mindset with great attention to detail- High quality organizational and leadership skills- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities- Must be adaptable, flexible, organized and work well in a local and global team environment- Must have a strong drive for success**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications.Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture.Build new products and development tools.Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans.Review integration and regression test plans created by QA.Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
