Credit Risk Senior Analyst

The Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.**Responsibilities**:- Resolve issues and recommend solutions to moderate problems- Integrate specialty area knowledge with an understanding of industry standards and practices and how teams collaborate to accomplish goals of the sub-function/ job family- Serve as an industry expert and advisor- Analyze and approve counter-party credit limits for trading, transactional and financing businesses with funds- Develop risk management framework and processes for funds- Advise businesses and clients on transaction structures and negotiate credit terms- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.**Qualifications**:- 2-5 years of relevant experience- Experience in financial analysis, accounting and valuation- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience**Key **Responsibilities**:- Conduct risk assessments and client credit analyses, review financial results, peer analyses and prepare financial projections.- Prepare and review regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner- Perform data reconciliation against different sources (Finance, Regulatory Report, Business Data, Comptroller)- Document a robust process and be able to assist the presentation of findings, monitoring and closure to diverse forums.- Escalate credit concerns/updates to senior risk and business managers and propose risk mitigation action to be taken by staying continuously informed of related developments/news for the portfolio and industry covered and understanding the credit process, policies and Citi's risk appetite- Assist with policy changes and serve as point of contact with ICRM (Compliance)- Build working relationships with various teams across the bank.- 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis or corporate banking- Experience in financial analysis, accounting, valuation and applicable regulations (desirable experience with Local regulation)- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, financial modelling, credit and banking products, credit analytics, risk assessment, and transaction execution.- Basic programming skills (Desirable)- ** Skills**:- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication- Proven ability to work with little direction and in a team- Ability to document in a comprehensive manner all the findings and procedures across the teams involved.- Demonstrated accountability, self-motivation and business acumen- Intermediate / Advance English communication Skills**Educational Requirements**- Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration, Legal, Economist, Finance or another similar discipline.- **Job Family Group**:Risk Management- **Job Family**:Credit & Portfolio Risk Management- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
