Planner/scheduler

Under indirect supervision, the Planner is responsible for constantly analyzing and monitoring the lists of raw materials needed to ensure thatmanufacturing processes are fulfilled in a timely manner according to the organization's existing plans, thus ensuring an efficient process withtimely delivery of our products and optimal utilization of resources.Analyzes sales forecasts and places purchase orders for the raw materials required for their fulfillment.- Create production plans that allow sales forecasts to be met.- Maintains constant communication of the status of production plans with sales, customer service,production, and quality departments.- Works hand in hand with the import-export department to provide adequate follow-up of the rawmaterials orders from the supplier's issuance until receipt at the Tijuana plant.- Carry out a monthly review of the raw material inventory, avoiding having excess or shortage of materials.- Constantly reviews the available capacities in the production lines and makes adjustments orimprovements to ensure the level of demand from our customers.- Monitor the progress of production plans to identify potential bottlenecks and generate mitigationactions.- Schedule material deliveries with information based on production standards, customer requirements,and other relevant factors.- Audits bills of materials ensuring the veracity of the information contained in materials managementsystems.- Generates, modifies, and keeps up to date the standard operating procedures of your area.- Actively participates in the health and safety committee.- Fosters a respectful, healthy, and professional work environment aligning with the Printpack philosophy.- Participates with other departments in problem analysis and root cause solutions when required.- Keeps interruptions to production plans to a minimum and ensures that actions and systems aregenerated to prevent recurrences.- Maintains constant and effective communication with its raw material suppliers to ensure compliancewith customer-supplier commitments.- Additional activities and responsibilities may be assigned by direct supervisor.Experience, Skills, and Knowledge- 3 years or more in role or activities.- MRP systems.- Attention to detail.- Effective communication and negotiation.- Operation of the supply chain (warehouse, production, and planning).- Advanced English (Reading and writing in accordance with the rules of punctuation, grammar, diction,and style that allow for fluent project presentations and/or participation in negotiation processes).Physical Requirements:- You should wear safety boots, caps, earplugs, and safety glasses.- Standing for long periods of time is required.- Additional personal protective equipment may be required according to the activities to be performed.- Minimum physical effort, lift maximum 7 kg.Visual Effort: Continuous fatigue: 51~80% of working hours on computer equipment.Academic level- Bachelor’s degree in administration, International Business or similar.has context menuPrintpack se enorgullece de ser un empleador que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades.
