Summary The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the correct and efficient posting of incoming payments to clients' accounts on the financial system. You will also be responsible for investigating unrecognized payments and liaising with internal parties to resolve them. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works closely with the cash collection team and GL team, improves cash allocation accuracy, and ensures the AR sub-ledger ties back to GL and bank statements. Responsibilities A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Clerk can look like Identifying and entering multicurrency cash receipts for all bank accounts Allocating cash receipts in line with remittance advice Following up and identifying unknown cash receipts via bank, internal or external partners Reconciling daily receipts posting journal against the bank statement, entering posting adjustments and corrective journals Preparing reports related to daily and monthly activities Creating and updating process documentation Participating in process improvement activities Participating in knowledge transfer projects from other company locations Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Finance & Accounting or related) Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position English on the B2 level or higher Analytical skills and problem-solving skills Good computer skills inc.
