As a HEAD OF LABORATORY, you will maintain control of the e-coat lines and coordinate the technical staff for maintaining the e-coat machines in our coating services business for our plant in Apodaca.You will report to the quality coordinator, having a work team of 3 lab technicians.**Key Responsibilities**- You wil document data in the process control log of the e-coat machines, such as concentrations, temperature, ph).- You will ensure correct preparation and adjustment of pretreatment and paint tanks by lab technicians.- Inventory control and chemical use in oracle system.- you will check the levels of all e coat paint line tanks and control and follow up the calibration program of the laboratory equipment.- Water conductivity analysis.- In follow-up to EHS department, you will perform the disposal of hazardous waste and generation of permits for blocking and padlocking of heights and confined spaces.- you will contact with production and maintenance areas to ensure that the conditions of the e coat process are in control.**Qualifications**- Education in Chemical engineer, industrial engineer or biochemist.- More than 1 year of laboratory experience manufacturing area.- knowledge in ecoat and pretreatment.- Basic office knowledge: excel: format filling, graphics, formulas.- We offer legal and benefits, and development plan.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
