To expand our global manufacturing footprint Danfoss Sensing Solutions is establishing new Sensor production lines in Apodaca, Mexico. For the Sensor growth journey we are searching for a Laboratory Engineer, to join our new established team.

As our new Laboratory Engineer, you will be the key person for building up and structuring new laboratory facilities for testing the pressure
- and gas
- sensors we are producing.
When we are in running production you are testing the sensors, to make sure they are meeting quality and performance requirements. The tests are executed according to defined test procedures and the related test results are provided to relevant colleagues for further analysis and conclusion.

In this role you will be working in the local laboratory in Apodaca and at the same time you are part of a global setup, with laboratories on manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia.

**Responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following**:

- Take overall ownership of our new laboratory located beside our product lines
- Plan and execute tests in the laboratory according to test procedures, both theoretically and practical
- Coordinate product tests with external test facilities and partners
- Work closely together with internal customers on specifications, tests, and data analysis
- Specifying and purchasing laboratory equipment

**Background & Skills**:

- A relevant background, such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent years of technical experience
- Extensive experience with test execution and measurement system analysis (MSA)
- Competency in data analysis and evaluation
- Experience with testing of mechatronic products highly beneficial
- Strong IT proficiency and willingness to quickly grasp new IT programs
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Good communication skills
