Department Overview:**Responsibilities**:- Responsible for automated testing activities for multi-tier web based and native mobile platform. (mostly automation activities but occasionally may include some manual testing activities). This includes writing test cases based on business requirements, test-data creation, creating and maintaining automated scripts to test front-end, API’s and database changes.- Play an active role in QA activities (including automation and functional testing) during all phases of the SDLC from requirements elaboration, design/development, test and deployment.- Creating and maintaining all QA related documentation throughout the SDLC process.- Execution of the test phase consistent with the overall project schedules.- Executing automated tests, investigating failures and creating defects and Direct interaction/facilitation of defect resolution with development engineering resources.- Use of defect tracking tools to log, manage, resolve and report on bugs/defects.- Works effectively within a dynamic team environment following QA standards and best practices ensure the highest level of quality.Qualifications:- 6+ years professional experience in Quality Assurance and Software Automation/Development.- 3+ years’ experience in Native Mobile Automation such as Appium, Selenium Webdriver (Grid, parallel, SauceLabs), Java (TestNG), RestAssured, Karate and preferably with both front-end (UI) and back-end (API’s) test automation experience.- Strong in writing database queries (SQL, MongoDB and/or Solr preferred).- Hands on experience with Appium/related native mobile app test automation- Experience with WebdriverIO or similar.- Experience with bug tracking tool (e.g. Jira or HP’s ALM / Quality Center); Confluence; CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) Eclipse IDE, & at least one build automation tool (e.g., Maven)- Git or similar tools.- Working knowledge with at least one desktop OS (Windows OR MAC operating systems) & at least one mobile OS (iOS or Android).- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and adapt to changes in priority as needed.- Must possess excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills with the ability to work within a growing company with increasing needs.LI-SG1LI-RemoteINDCompany Overview:**ABOUT OPORTUN**Oportun (Nasdaq: OPRT) is a financial services company and digital platform that provides responsible consumer credit to hardworking people in the United States.
