Materials Planner

We are hiring a **Materials Planner**to schedule and coordinate the efficient distribution of products in order to satisfy customer demand.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Analyze material requirements for raw and purchased material to complete production orders.- Plan the sequenced production and delivery of parts from internal and external suppliers.- Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between suppliers and/or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.- Customer order management and support.- Assist management in resolving external and internal supply chain related issues.- Manage Lean improvement projects within the plant supply chain.- Compile and maintain manual or computerized records for tracking production operations.- Maintain product coding and material master records.- Analyze and disposition slow moving inventory.- Process material rejects.**Wellbeing Means so Much More than Benefits**:**We value our employees' well-being at Steelcase and offer several resources to support their health, work, and personal needs.**- ** Employee Assistance Program**, which provides immediate and confidential help 24/7 for any problem related to health, work, or personal life.
