Overview:The Sr. Manager of Quality and Testing will manage and expand Oportun’s Business Control Office (BCO) testing capabilities. Focus on operational and compliance processes utilizing a risk-based methodology. This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced organization where your contributions can have a meaningful impact.**Responsibilities**:- Develop, implement, and enhance a risk-based testing program of Oportun’s financial products (Personal Loans, Secured Personal Loans, Credit Cards)- Collaborate with business leaders across the organization to deliver and clarify testing results in alignment with risk-based methodology- Oversee testing activities with focus on areas of highest risk, providing direction to staff on examinations, and evaluation of findings prior to final stakeholder reporting- Identify and assess risks and controls of existing and emerging areas within Oportun- Design and implement testing to provide optimal risk coverage and impactful results- Manage an existing testing team by setting performance goals and objectivesQualifications:- Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or other discipline with risk and control assessment experience, preferably in the financial service industry- Bilingual in Spanish and English languages- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to maintain the highest standard of integrity, accuracy, and precision- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build relationships within the business and enterprise Risk function- Proven leadership skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end-to-end risk management solutions- Solid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsLI-SG1LI-RemoteINDCompany Overview:**ABOUT OPORTUN**Oportun (Nasdaq: OPRT) is an A.I.powered digital banking platform that seeks to make financial health effortless for anyone.
