You will work directly with our manual and automation teams and have the opportunity to be flexible and an innovative problem solver. Experience with scripting or automation (or selenium) is a plus. We want this person to value testing and understand the importance of it. The ability to instruct/coach manual resources in automation is a benefit for this role.**As an Automation Software Quality Engineer, you will**:- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using selenium WebDriver and other automation testing tools.- Work with an external automation team to create and maintain testing framework(s).- Successfully work with our development teams and be accountable for highly complex projects.- Work closely with product management teams to understand requirements and technical specifications.- Build tools to run automated tests at pre-set times automatically or at code merge.- Identify, record, document and track bugs using industry standard tools.- Develop and maintain QA Automation guidelines and process documentation.- Help to identify project risks and to recommend actions to minimize risk.- Help to teach automation skills and standard processes to members our manual team.Nuestro equipo está creciendo Como parte del equipo de control de calidad de Spruce, realizarás pruebas automatizadas dentro de un ciclo de integración continua. La capacidad para instruir/coachear recursos manuales en automatización es beneficiosa para este rol.**Como Ingeniero de Calidad de Software de Automatización, deberás**:- Diseñar, desarrollar y ejecutar scripts de automatización utilizando Selenium WebDriver y otras herramientas de prueba de automatización.- Trabajar con un equipo externo de automatización para crear y mantener framework(s) de prueba.- Trabajar con éxito con nuestros equipos de desarrollo y ser responsable de proyectos altamente complejos.- Trabajar estrechamente con los equipos de gestión de productos para comprender los requisitos y las especificaciones técnicas.- Construir herramientas para ejecutar pruebas automatizadas automáticamente en momentos predefinidos o en la fusión de código.- Identificar, registrar, documentar y hacer seguimiento de errores utilizando herramientas estándar de la industria.- Desarrollar y mantener pautas de automatización de control de calidad y documentación de procesos.- Ayudar a identificar riesgos en el proyecto y recomendar acciones para minimizarlos.- Ayudar a enseñar habilidades de automatización y procesos estándar a miembros de nuestro equipo manual.This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.**Who you are**:- 3-5 years of hands on experience in automated testing and framework creation.- Expert level knowledge of Selenium WebDriver (Javascript).- Experienced with automating RESTful APIs (Postman and JSON).- Be familiar with CI/CD tools such as CircleCi/Jenkins.- Demonstrable experience with quality assurance metrics and reporting.- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve sophisticated engineering challenges.- Solid Understanding of Github and Git commands.- Be able to clearly communicate automation test results to the team and help prioritize and resolve any issues.- Strong bug isolation skills.- Willingness to instruct automation standard processes to junior members of the team.- Comfortable with agile development such as Scrum or Kanban.- Be passionate about troubleshooting and learning new tools/technology.- Possess the ability to
