You will work directly with our manual and automation teams and have the opportunity to be flexible and an innovative problem solver. Experience with scripting or automation (or selenium) is a plus. We want this person to value testing and understand the importance of it. The willingness to learn automation is a strong plus.**As a Manual Software Quality Engineer, you will**:- Assist with the creation of a comprehensive regression test case suite.- Assist with the creation of manual test cases as new features are being developed.- Collaboration with Business & Product Management teams to involve in design, development, documentation of the changes.- Write, Run, and perform regular regression and smoke tests and debug/fix possible issues.- Perform Root Cause Analysis on QA issues and report them to all business stakeholders and project managers.- Run and write automated test suites.- Assisting with the training of new team members.- Mentoring associate QA engineers.- Help to identify project risks and to recommend actions to minimize risk.- Assist in the continued focus on improving the QA process through optimizing procedures, proposing tools and evolving policies.- Preparing test reports for management.- Recommending feature improvements to enhance user experience.Nuestro equipo está creciendo Como parte del equipo de QA de Spruce, realizarás pruebas manuales dentro de un ciclo de integración continua. La disposición para aprender automatización es una gran ventaja.**Como Ingeniero de Calidad de Software Manual, deberás**:- Colaborar en la creación de un conjunto integral de casos de prueba de regresión.- Contribuir a la creación de casos de prueba manuales a medida que se desarrollan nuevas funciones.- Colaborar con los equipos de Negocios y Gestión de Productos para participar en el diseño, desarrollo y documentación de los cambios.- Escribir, ejecutar y realizar pruebas regulares de regresión y pruebas de humo, y solucionar problemas posibles.- Realizar Análisis de Causa Raíz sobre problemas de QA y reportarlos a todas las partes interesadas del negocio y gerentes de proyectos.- Ejecutar y escribir conjuntos de pruebas automatizadas.- Ayudar con la capacitación de nuevos miembros del equipo.- Mentorizar a ingenieros de QA asociados.- Ayudar a identificar riesgos en el proyecto y recomendar acciones para minimizarlos.- Contribuir al enfoque continuo en mejorar el proceso de QA mediante la optimización de procedimientos, la propuesta de herramientas y la evolución de políticas.- Preparar informes de pruebas para la dirección.- Recomendar mejoras en funciones para mejorar la experiência del usuario.This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.**Who you are**:- Proven experience in software testing in long-term enterprise level roles.- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve QA problems and challenges.- Knowledge of professional software quality engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.- Experience with version control tools (GitHub).- Comfortable establishing integration tests for REST APIs.- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong bug isolation skills.- Experience with mentoring team members.- Strong test case writing abilities.- Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask.- Familiarity writing automated tests and setting up frameworks is a pl
