Ordinary Experts is a technical consulting company specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure management through Infrastructure as Code. We are an AWS Consulting Partner.We are hiring a full time (contractor) DevOps Engineer residing in Mexico.This is a mid-level role tasked with the following for our clients:- Advising clients on AWS solutions architecture- Developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code using technologies like CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, Chef, Ansible, etcDevOps Engineers work in teams with a Tech Lead and a Project Manager. Depending on the project the Engineer may interact directly with clients as well. This is a 100% remote role. Availability is required during Pacific timezone business hours.Although this is a full time role, we are a consulting company. The Engineer will need to be flexible, a fast learner, and comfortable jumping into new challenges. Experience as an independent consultant, while not rquired, would certainly be valuable.The DevOps Engineer needs experience with a wide variety of AWS services, and a good understanding of modern cloud infrastructure. Experience with at least one IaC tool is required, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation. Solid Linux skills are essential, and Docker skills are a plus.Other technologies we work with include deployment automation tools like Ansible and Chef; scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Javascript; frameworks like Rails, Django, Celery, etc; and datastores like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Aurora, Timescale, Redis, and Memcache.Pay: $465.00 - $560.00 per hour**Experience**:- AWS: 2 years (preferred)
