Posting Description:**Legal & Compliance Leader - Mexico/Caribe**- Do you want to be part of a _**_high performing_**:- team and enjoy new _**_challenges_**:- ?_- This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Mexico city office._**Aon is in the business of better decisions**At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.**What the day will look like**The scope and level of responsibility for this role is to:- Provide legal advice to the requirements and needs of Aon in the Subregion, in accordance with current regulations and corporate policies, in order to ensure that Aon's business is developed within the legal framework that is proper to it and in a manner aligned with parent company guidelines.- Provide Legal and Compliance advice for Aon Companies in the sub-region.- Advice on claims that incorporate Errors or Omissions or those that are considered critical for the Company.- Assistance in the structuring of new products, ensuring compliance with local market regulations.- Advice on contractual issues- Compliance with corporate policies in the countries of the Subregion regarding TOBAS, limits of liability, etc.- Participate in contracting processes with clients, suppliers and third parties.- Advice on regulatory issues with surveillance and control entities - Relations with Government Entities- Advice on Corporate issues, Assemblies, Partners Meetings - relationship with shareholders- Lead the legal team of the sub-region ensuring the support required to ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory standards, as well as corporate policies and definitions.- Lead strategic projects and negotiations, including M&A and partnerships contracts.- Take strategic decisions, mitigate risks and adivse C-Level management with a risk management approach, protecting the firm and allowing business in a compliant and safe manner.**How this opportunity is different**This role is the Head of Legal and Compliance for Mexico, Caribbean and CA, one of the most important P&L for the LATAM.
