As a member of HARMAN Lifestyle, you connect consumers with the power of superior sound.- Contribute your talents to high-end, esteemed brands like JBL, Mark Levinson, and Revel- Unite your passion for audio innovation with high-tech product development- Create pitch-perfect, cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience**About the Role**The employee has the authority granted by the company through this document to make decisions for the benefit of the company to ensure the conformity of the product, its quality, functionality, the health and safety of the person who intervenes in the process according with quality, safety and environmental systems and customer-specific requirements.**What You Will Do**- Coordinates the scheduling of shipments and notifies concerned departments of arrival dates.- Investigate and resolve problems with shipments, carriers, US & MX Brokers, US & MX customs.- Negotiates pricing with domestic and foreign shippers and custom brokers.- Plans and coordinates the importing, exporting and follows through materials and finished products in transit to comply the Company’s requirements.- Supervises the expediting of imports and exports and maintains information on tariffs, licenses and restrictions by U.S. Mexican and other Countries Customs Authorities.- Develops the maquila programs and submits the required reports before the corresponding Government Authorities.- Responsible for the compliance of the shipping system, meeting customs regulations form the U.S. Mexico and other countries.- Maintains the integrity of the shipment system.- Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, Developing and acting as a facilitator to the associates of the Shipping Department.- Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinates to facilitate the implementation and operation of the Company.- Develops improvement projects with the purpose of optimize the metrics of Material Control, such as inventory turnover, customer service, on time deliveries, etc.- Elaborates Daily, Weekly, Monthly and reports.- Monthly reports, follow up the KPI of the plant.
