Key Responsibilities- Lead and support SAP SD/OTC configurations and integrations within the automotive sector.- Manage day-to-day operations including system support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.- Analyze and evaluate new functional business requirements and assess their impact on the SAP landscape.- Ensure alignment of solution designs with industry standards and best practices.- Collaborate with business process owners, SAP teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects and collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions- Own and drive delivery of Automotive EDI processes and mapping specs.- Contribute to global deployment projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across time zones.- Ensure seamless integration of SAP OTC with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM, etc.) and external systems.- Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA advancements, roadmap changes, and emerging trends.- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to optimize OTC processes.**Required Skills & Experience**- **10+ years** of hands-on SAP SD/OTC experience.- Minimum **4 years in the automotive industry** working on high-volume EDI processes.- In-depth knowledge of **Automotive EDI transactions** including:- 830 (Planning Schedule), 862 (Shipping Schedule / JIT),- 850 (Purchase Order), 856 (Advance Shipping Notice),- 810 (Invoice) and related message types.- Experience in creating **EDI mapping specifications** and functional design documents.- Strong SAP SD functional knowledge including:- Sales Orders, Order Types, Partner Determination- Copy Controls, Enhancements, and User-Exits- **Logistics Execution (LE)**, **Billing**, **Retro-Billing**, and **Complex Pricing**- Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., **IBM Sterling**, Boomi, etc.) is a strong plus.- Demonstrated ability to support **production systems** and resolve integration issues.- Strong communication and **stakeholder management skills**.- Excellent **English fluency**—both written and spoken.- Willingness to travel to client locations during key project phases (e.g., workshops, testing, go-live support) as required by the project or client.**Preferred Education and Other Qualifications**- Requires an Engineering or bachelor’s degree in information systems- Experience working with **global teams** on design, development, and rollouts.- Exposure to modern API-led connectivity approaches.- Certification in SAP SD or related modules is a plus.- Prior experience working in **remote or distributed teams**.
