**Material Manager****RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Builds, leads, and develops a team of sourcing professionals.- Creates, implements, and maintains an industry best request for proposal process to maintain favorable positions across relevant commodity classes and components.- Works to develop longer-range supply strategies and plans that drive significant value while meeting the business requirements.- Communicates actively with other team members to keep an accurate picture of material availability at all times. Takes ownership of the availability of raw materials and components to meet the factory production schedule.- Drives annual cost savings through effective strategies and negotiations to meet annual budget projections.- Establishes and maintains framework for make versus buy decisions related to components.- Creates and maintains processes for vendor selection, vendor qualification, master service agreements, and consignment agreements.- Creates Strategic Demand Forecast for manufactured items through the Sales Inventory and Operations Plan (SIOP) cycle of meetings.- Measures analyzes, and reports key process metrics, while monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPI) for assigned product categories and adjust schedules as necessary.- Assists with inventory accuracy by identifying problems, monitoring accuracy, inventory levels and manpower requirements.- Supervises and manages employees as it relates to all projects or related work, establishes performance requirements, clarifies responsibilities of those supervised, conducts performance appraisals and plans for individual employee development.- Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.**QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or another related field. MBA preferred- At least 8 years of related strategic sourcing, purchasing, and manufacturing experience.- At least 5 years of management experience.- Bilingual in Spanish/English.- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.- Certified Supply Chain Professional or Project Management Professional certification preferred.- Skilled at establishing supplier quality and scorecard programs.- Experience with global suppliers, selections, and balancing multiple suppliers for each part.- Warehouse management experience preferred.- Knowledge of hardline tools and equipment preferred.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: Hasta $143,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de vida- Vales de despensaPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuenta con titulo y/o cédula profesional?Idioma:- Ingles Avanzado (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: In person
