They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.**What your background should look like**:**Requirements**:- Bachelors Degree (Industrial Engineering preferred)- A strong background in Engineering and Lean Manufacturing.- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training is preferred.- Advanced English- Minimum 4 years of experience related to continuous improvement practices. Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing- Technical Problem Solving oriented. Strong analysis and decision-making experience and ability.- Experience in achieving deadlines and commitments.- A team player with strong communication & stakeholder relationship management skills.- Ability to communicate findings, orally and visually, to a variety of audiences.**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:- Experience working on improvements of workflows and layouts identifying opportunities for waste reduction following Creating Continuous Flow, 3P and Making Material flow methodologies to reduce lead time.- Proficient computer skills including AutoCAD, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.- Designs and implements production cells and/or high-performance stations, standard works and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.- Work closely with the engineering and operations leaders to integrate develop processes as part of lean manufacturing and continues improving activities. Be an agent of change for continuous improvement.- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their capacity, efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques to reduce/eliminate process variation.- Provides guidance and coaching to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.- Lead equipment improvement activities across all plants for all areas through Measurement, Analysis, Improvement and Control.Travel Required: Less than 10%Location: Hermosillo**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
