A leading North American company with a worldwide presence in developing semiconductors and other technological advances in telecommunications is looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to work in their design lab in Tijuana. Their activities include performing analysis of products to determine root cause of a failure.***:**Responsibilities**:- Performs complex failure analyses creatively.- Applies advanced failure analysis knowledge and seeks alternatives.- Examines silicon layers for physical defects.- Uses laser and electrical fault isolation techniques.- Administers non-destructive testing with imaging tools.- Contributes to failure analysis papers and reports.- Documents and reports root causes of failures.- Conducts necessary analyses with mínimal guidance.- Manages complicated defect cases.- Coordinates with other teams to resolve device issues.**Experience and requirements**:- BS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or equivalent.- Proficiency in physical/electrical analysis techniques (e.g., mechanical polishing, SEM inspection, OBIRCH/TIVA).- Proficient in optical fault isolation (e.g., Soft Defect Localization, Laser Voltage Probing).- Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics, devices, circuitry analysis, and wafer fabrication.- Experience in SEM-based nano-probing on planar, SOI, and FinFET technologies.- Familiar with SCAN logic, Memory BIST, and RF/Analog design strategies.- Familiar with reliability testing for device and packaging (e.g., CDM, HBM, TLP, HTOL).- Good communicator with strong organization/project management skills.- Effective in a laboratory environment and in multi-functional teams.**What we offer**:- All benefits following the LFT.- Superior vacation bonus.- Extra days of Christmas bonus.- Savings fund.- Weekly food voucher.- Start-up bonus during your first 3 years.- Family Major Medical Expense Insurance.- Individual Life Insurance.- PTO days.- Relocation support bonus in case you do not live in Tijuana.- Growth and development plan.
