Held is seeking an experienced O365/Azure cloud security engineer to support the various security engineering activities within the organizations cloud environments. The cloud security engineer will support and secure many facets of the computing environment and will recommend tools and capabilities based on research, knowledge, and experience.The cloud security engineer will contribute as part of a team to cybersecurity engineering activities and also support security and IT operations utilizing various security tools and platforms following established processes and procedures and will analyze the systems, processes, and procedures to continuously enhance and streamline the operations and automate where applicable.**Required Experience and Skills**- Professional Level / Full English Fluency- Extensive experience engineering cloud security solutions- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure security tools- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in cloud computing concepts and technology- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to technical details- Experience in analyzing a wide variety of network/host logs to detect and resolve security issues and incidents- Perform threat management and identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring- Deep experience with cloud-based security and systems management tools- Experience with Microsoft EMS and ATP Solutions/Intune/Azure/0365/Defender/CAS- Proven ability to create, troubleshoot, and run PowerShell scripts- Demonstratable knowledge and experience with Office 365 administration is required- Demonstratable knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure Platform, the well architected framework, and the associated governance and security controls- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Capability to work on multiple tasks with shifting and sometimes conflicting priorities- Able to work effectively with other teams and departments to develop effective and efficient solutions- Experience designing and implementing information security/technology processes- Experience collaborating with remote colleagues- Experience working with vendors or managing vendor relationships- Experience collaborating with Application, Infrastructure, Network, HelpDesk and Security teams- Ability to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to work collaboratively with others in a dynamic environment**Responsibilities**:- Collaborate effectively and efficiently with IT and Security Teams- Engineer security solutions to meet business and security requirements- Work with security and IT teams to determine security configurations and engineering best practices across all current and future cloud solutions- Manage and maintain Microsoft cloud security solutions and configurations ensuring proper change management reviews are completed when appropriate- Provide technical expert recommendations for informed decision making on Microsoft 365/Azure security architecture and solutions- Maintain O365/Azure Defender to monitor and protect IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS- Provide overall Office 365/Azure security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, and other Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security offerings- Drive prioritization of significant O365/Azure security initiatives and projects and track all tasks in project management system accordingly- Keep up to date on emerging technology and cloud platform changes/trends- Develop and maintain security team documentation- Enhance security posture through continuous evaluation, process improvement, and automation- Ensure reliable operation of production systems with mínimal disruptions to end users- Develop technical standards and solutions- Support other Technology Services related activities as required- Proactively communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements, timelines, etc.- Availability to participate in a global on-call rotation- Flexibility to work varying hours in case of an incident or other business requirements- Perform other duties as assigned**Education and Overall Experience**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar- 7 years of experience in Information Technology/Cyber/Information Security related role- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering required- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft 365 required
