Job descriptionThe Director Sourcing and International Operations will lead all corporate efforts related to the control of spend, this by overseeing the entire sourcing cycle at a global scale (category assessment, supplier base development, pricing negotiations, project implementations, contract management and supplier relationship management), as well as manage all international operations for warehouse consolidations, international kitting and inbound dispatching toDistribution Centers in North America.Essential**Responsibilities**:Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with vendors to foster feedback and continuous improvement.Conceptualizes and develops strategies for the global portfolio of commodities.Leads the Global Category Management team in the conceptualization and execution of Sourcing projects through project management methodologies.Tracks business intelligence information at the commodity level for decision making on Sourcing projects.Leads negotiation efforts on key commodities for global suppliers.Oversees the Supplier Relationship Management process with focus on mediating any opportunities in level of service, on-time delivery, and quality.Oversees all related intelligence for international foreign trade implications applicable toline of business and defines strategies to minimize cost impacts for the organization.Manages international operations in full for inbound product consolidation, international kitting, and inbound dispatching to Distribution Centers in North America.**Requirements**:Excellent English proficiencyWill be travelling, passport & Visa are requiredHome Office modalityAdvanced proficiency in ERP systems for purchasing and materials management modules.Knowledge of INCOTERMS and various international purchasing and trade requirements.Familiarity with Business Intelligence integration with ERP systems is preferable (i.e. Power BI, BusinessObjects, Tableau, etc).Minimum QualificationsEducation/Experience/TrainingBachelor's Degree in business or related field, Master's Degree preferable. At least 5 years of international Sourcing experience, and at least 5 years of management experience. Experience must include international supply development, customs relations, compliance management, tariff classification and managing broker relationships. CPM and/or membership in APICS is a plus.
