**Job Details****What you will do? Job Scope & Purpose:The Sr Finance Analyst will ensure the availability of structured and standardized finance reporting data across the key applied factories in North America (Covering Chillers and Airside) at a recurring rate, working closely with the finance factory and pricing teams to leverage the data as a key input for pricing and discounting decisions. The role will serve as a member of the Center of Excellence Finance team supporting the Strategy, Pricing & Transformation Team for the Global Products, Applied Business. The work under the role is critical to ensure we are making the correct decision both for short term operational level and in the long term with strategically focusing on profitable products and addressing profitability of less attractive products.**How you will do it? Essential Job Responsibilities**:- Contribute on the development and maintenance of an automated reporting tool for margin performance visibility by product for Applied globally- Improve and automate current Factory margin reporting mainly for the 3 AHU Plants and San Antonio Chillers plan (as main source for the tool mentioned above)- Build and automate a standard report across the plants- Ensure mandatory information such as contract, order and line number are captured and extracted in a standardized way across all factories- Capture standard cost and develop POC contracts margin detailed reporting- Support and drive activities that contribute to cost reduction actions and improve product profitability by identifying disconnections between Factory and other reports and update accordingly- Support ad hoc requests and recurring meetings related to cost / profitability data- Revenue by LOB weekly reporting- Mid-month outlook revision including pull in and push out contracts- Daily / weekly monitoring of shipments with margin associated- Ensure cost and margin build up from sales entities aligned to factory reporting- Support mix analysis by product and identify low/high contribution margin contracts to pull in or push out in specific periods- Own Equipment Profit Centers (EPC) accounting process including Month end Close activities.**What we look for? Position Requirements**:**Required Skills**:**- **Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance- Understanding of accounting in factories setup- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent- Strong analytical problem-solving, operational implementation, coordination and influencing skills and ability to manage complex program- Strong business acumen, resilient, agile learner, organized, detail oriented, and high business ethical standard- Comfortable and able to perform in a matrixed environment, working with people outside the direct team- Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel- Self-motivated; able to work alone or in a collaborative team environment- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Professional proficiency in written and oral English- Highly organized and able to communicate clearly in both oral and written format**Preferred Skills**- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.- Exposure to the HVAC market- Possession of knowledge in building market (equipment, solution, service) and emerging technologies- Experience in working in a global environment- Power BI- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion._
