This position is responsible for Leading the efficient operations of the Receiving, Shipping, and Staging areas of the Warehouse.- Ensures all warehouse personnel are trained properly for their job functions as well as the equipment they use.- Plan, directs and supervises the daily activities of the warehouse.- Schedules staff to ensure coverage in all areas of the warehouse.- Disciplines employees when necessary and recommends terminations according to company policies and procedures.- Administrative duties including scheduling, timecards, maintaining materials inventory and other duties as needed.- Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of warehouse associates and provides ongoing performance management, training and conducts timely formal performance appraisals for staff.- Daily management of labor and the coaching of associates to achieve productivity expectation.- Providing leadership and motivation within the warehouse to promote a culture reflective of our Mission, Vision, Values and Corporate Strategy.- Perform personnel evaluations as needed.- Conducts huddles (similar to mini department meetings) daily - especially between shifts to communicate information to and from prior and later shifts.- Ensure safety is a number one consideration on the warehouse floor.- Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents.- Record and report all associate and employees accidents in accordance with established JicaFoods procedures.- Complete projects as assigned.- Fill in various warehouse positions when staffing is short.- Performs additional duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned.Documents: VISAExperience Years: 5Education: Bachelor's degreeLanguages: English : 65%Certifications:- Familiaridad MRP/ERP.- Habilidad para hablar en público.
