For over 200 years, we’ve invented and designed the solutions and technologies that substantially and sustainably improve everyone’s daily life.The Grinding High Precision Machines Division of Fives specializes in the design and supply of various types of machines for numerous markets such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Energy, Space, etc.The division has approximately 1,700 employees worldwide working in about 20 locations in Asia, Europe, and North America.**It is with you, that industry can do it**We are currently seeking a **Business Development Manager** who has the same desire to prove that industry can do itAt Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:- Expand the new machine and aftermarket (rebuilds, retools, parts and service) business in Mexico through diversification of products and services.- Key focus on developing business with customers outside traditional automotive engine plants.- Develop individual sales strategy for each account in the designated territory to optimize bookings.- Recommend and attend industrial Trade Shows for the purpose of developing new markets.- Oversee direct preparation of proposals, contracts, amendments and supporting promotional activities.- Collect business intelligence and submit special reports regarding the operation of the territory, acceptance or rejection of products and competitive conditions beneficial to other salespeople and company operations.- Must travel with a minimum of 60% of the time within designated territory, to Fives locations, and to entertain customers.**If this is you, come join us, too**We are seeking someone who has a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline required with a minimum of 5 years of field sales or technical & service experience.
