Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.What a typical day looks like:- Manages, controls and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.- Manages, controls and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss objectives including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.- Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified, and that material is handled, stored and delivered properly.- Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations and managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.- Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, operations managers and warehouse managers.- Responsible for accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls.- Provides for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods.- Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.- Reviews, plans and approves purchase orders and change notices.- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.- Responsible for disposition of excess and obsolete materials.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience- Fluent English- Strong knowledge in production, warehouse, purchasing and planning control.- I work under pressure- Results oriented- Experience in leading- Experience in the following or similar industries: electronic manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Automotive.- Direct materials management experience for factories preferred.- Travel as required.- Ability to work with, manage and influence all levels of Leadership.- Ability to make data-driven decisions.- Successful use of decision-making and analytical skills.- Excellent communication skills.- Kinaxis knowledge (preferred)What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary- Life & Medical insurance- Christmas Bonus- Food Coupons- Saving Fund.- Life InsuranceMH52Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain
